A Place Set Apart to Seek God, Spend Quiet Time in His Presence, and Experience Personal Encounters With Him
OUR STORY
Every work of God has a beginning, and we give all glory to God for the journey of Asamu Prayer Center.
For more than eight years, yearly revival programs have been organized in Asamu Town, bringing people together to seek God, pray, worship, and experience His presence.
In September 2020, God gave a specific revelation and direction concerning a place that He had set apart for His work. Through Evangelist Theophilous O. Oyegoke, God gave the direction for the establishment of this place, and the name Asamu Prayer Center was given.
Asamu Prayer Center was established as a place where people can come away from the distractions of everyday life, spend quiet time with God, pray personally, seek His presence, and draw closer to Him.
It is not a place where prayer meetings are held every day. Rather, programs are organized as the Holy Spirit leads, including yearly revival programs and other gatherings when God gives direction.

We recognize Jesus Christ as the Founder of Asamu Prayer Center.
Minister in Charge
Evangelist Theophilous O. Oyegoke is the servant through whom God gave the direction and entrusted the work.
Our desire is to remain faithful to the purpose for which this place was established and to give all glory to Jesus Christ.
OUR VISION
Our vision is to provide a place where people can personally seek God, spend quiet time in His presence, pray, and experience a personal encounter with Him.
We welcome people who desire to step away from the busyness of life and dedicate time to seeking God.
People may also come from other states to stay at the Prayer Center, spend time in prayer, and seek God in a peaceful environment.
OUR MISSION
Our mission is to provide a place where people can:
Seek God through personal prayer and quiet time
Draw closer to God and seek His presence
Have personal encounters with God
Spend time away from everyday distractions
Encourage a life of prayer and faith
Participate in programs organized as the Holy Spirit leads
Take part in yearly revival programs in Asamu Town
Serve and support people in need through charitable activities
REVIVAL AND PROGRAMS
Asamu Prayer Center has been connected with yearly revival programs in Asamu Town for more than eight years.
We also organize programs at the Prayer Center according to the leading and direction of God.
Our programs are not based on a fixed schedule of daily prayer meetings. We seek to follow the leading of the Holy Spirit concerning when and what programs should be organized.
We also make programs and spiritual activities available online, allowing people who cannot physically visit the Prayer Center to connect with us.
A PLACE FOR QUIET TIME WITH GOD
Asamu Prayer Center is a place where individuals can come to spend personal and quiet time with God.
You may come to pray privately, seek God's direction, reflect on His Word, and dedicate time to His presence.
We believe that sometimes people need a peaceful place where they can step away from their normal environment and focus their hearts on God.
ACCOMMODATION
Accommodation is available for people who come from other states or places and desire to spend time at the Prayer Center.
At present, we have three rooms available for accommodation.
The accommodation currently provides:
- Water
- Electricity
- Toilet facilities
- A peaceful place to stay and seek God
Accommodation is provided free of charge.
Availability may depend on the number of people coming and the available rooms, so visitors are encouraged to contact us in advance.
OUR CHARITABLE MISSION
As part of our commitment to serving people and demonstrating the love of Christ, Asamu Prayer Center is registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) in Nigeria as a charitable organization.

Our charitable work is part of our desire to serve, support, encourage, and make a positive difference in the lives of people and within our community.
We care for and support people in need, including:
Sick and vulnerable people
Less privileged people
Elderly people
Pregnant women, where applicable
Children, where applicable
Widows
People and families facing difficult circumstances
We believe that our faith should not only be expressed through prayer and worship, but also through love, compassion, service, and helping those in need.
OUR CONTINUING JOURNEY
Since the establishment of Asamu Prayer Center, we have continued to trust God and follow His direction.
Our desire remains to provide a place where people can seek God, spend quiet time with Him, pray personally, and draw closer to His presence.
We are grateful for what God has done, what He is doing, and what He will continue to do.
